Children
To meet the needs of the children educationally, socially, and physically through experiences that contribute to their developmental needs based on the child’s individual interests and abilities that will build important foundations for the future, skills and academic pursuits.
Parent Expectations
Parents will work with SHELC to enhance skills learned in the classroom. Parent/Provider group sessions will be offered no less than quarterly.
Enrollment Procedures
Before your child can be officially enrolled in SHELC, a Pre-admission meeting between the Provider and parent(s)/guardian(s) along with the following documents:
- Enrollment/Registration Contract Agreement
- “All About Me” Form & Photograph Release
- Emergency, Immunization and Health Assessment
- Signed Parent Handbook, Discipline Policy and Screen Time Policy Forms
- Copy of Parents/Guardian I.D. & (1) Passport size photo of child
- Child’s Birth Certificate (copy)
- and any other documents as required by SHELCs
All documents must be completed in full and returned to the Provider. Once a start date has been determined, a non-refundable Registration Fee and non-refundable Deposit Fee must be paid. All forms will be kept on file in the Providers office and entered into the childcare database system.
We do require that the parent/guardian and their child(ren) visit our Childcare prior to enrollment. This process allows your child(ren) to become more familiar with our childcare and staff.
