My son was the very first child to join Ms. Osita’s daycare, and from day one, I knew we had made the right choice. Ms. Osita truly has a heart of gold — she’s incredibly flexible, compassionate, and genuinely wants the best for every child in her care. She goes above and beyond not only for the children but also for families in need, always advocating for others and wishing the best for everyone around her. The staff are just as wonderful — caring, patient, and committed to making sure every child feels safe and loved. My son started off as a very timid, shy, mommy’s boy, but with their nurturing support, he has blossomed into a happy, confident child who loves going to daycare every day. My son, Aiden, who just turned 4, has been there since it was a new daycare. He started January of 2024. He’s been there through all the providers and we’ve seen everything. Osita has had some great staff. The first year was Deja, who was over the top great on every level. She left after a year to pursue veterinary training. Ms. Tina who is there periodically is very good as well. Ms Mae, the teacher that has been there for a while now is excellent! Osita has had some other staff as well who have been mediocre. Those ones get replaced. None of the staff have been bad at all, just some have really have been over the top great: Deja, Ms. Tina and Ms. Mae. Osita is great with the kids as well. They’ve always worked one any issues with Aiden and he has excelled in learning so much! There are not a lot of kids at daycare but some times in there have been drop ins. None of the staff, including the male staff, have never come across as aggressive (in regards to the negative review). This is just my experience though but I feel that it is a good overall and whole perspective, as Aiden has been the only child there the entire time over this 1.5 years, so I really have seen it all. There have been occasional rough housing issues with play in the past, and Aiden had some scratches and marks, but this was in frequent and hasn’t happened in a couple of month. Not to mention they are kids and this is part of growing up and learning to be more gentle. The pricing of Safe Haven is also the most reasonable by far and the fact they get breakfast, lunch and snacks and all is healthy is really great! She even takes them on a little field trips sometimes. Also I’ve always sent Osita a Zelle for payment, so there is no automatic reoccurring charge that I am aware of.

I’ve known Ms Osagbue for over 35 years. She loves children and is very good with them. I’ve been to her home and love the daycare set up, I’ve met her staff, they are very capable, caring and patient, as is she. I got to know about Safe Haven Daycare from the internet. Something about the name appealed to me and I had to make that move to register my kids there. The environment is cosy & welcoming. The tutors are down to earth & ready to work with the kids. As for the owner, Osita S. Osagbue…She is extremely down to earth & has lots of patience to work with the kids. The meals given to the kids are carefully prepared. There is documentation for every activity (Nap time, potty training and even recreation). So many positive things to say about Safe Haven but I will leave it at this for now. I will highly recommend Safe Haven for anyone who wants the best for their kids. Chioma Onwuka.
